Introducing the Retül Müve Fit Bike

Denver Fit Loft has introduced the Retül Müve dynamic fit bike. The fit bike retul-muvefeatures simple turn crank movement allowing for XY adjustability while the rider is on the bike. Unlike other fit bikes that have been on the market for years, the Retül Müve is new and unique. It is entirely mechanical and continuously adjustable with the rider on-board and pedaling. Simple hand knobs allow the fitter to dial in the contact points, one millimeter at a time. Multiple, independent knobs change saddle stack, saddle reach, bar stack, and bar reach. The cranks are adjustable as well, ranging from 155mm to 185mm, which allows the rider to test out a variety of lengths.

The fit bike is an excellent tool for cyclists and triathletes to use prior to purchasing a new bike. Retül Müve can be set up for road, mountain, and tri positions. The bike works in conjunction with Retül 3D motion capture technology in order for the fitter to collect rider data and immediately make bike adjustments to create the desired final position.

If you’re in the market for a new bike, make the Retül Müve your first stop. Schedule an appointment today.

Vaughn Qualifies for Kona

It was one of the hardest Ironman races to date, but for our lead fit technician, Josh Vaughn, the pain was worth the effort. Ironman St. George has always been touted as one of the most challenging Ironman distance races, and this year it lived up to that distinction. With winds gusting up to 40 mph, the race went from tough to brutal in a matter of minutes. Some described the swim as a test of survival; competitors were plucked from the water in record numbers. The bike course, which is notoriously hilly, was equally tough as winds blasted in the faces of athletes, resulting in some of the slowest course times to date. The new three loop run course kept spectators within reach and helped buoy the battered competitors.

Josh has completed over a dozen Ironman distance races and said this effort was his hardest yet. But the challenges of the day only made him fight harder, and it resulted in him earning a qualifying spot to the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. We are extremely proud of his hard work and effort and look forward to cheering him on in October.

John Crossing the Line

Denver Fit Loft athlete John Field had a few obstacles to overcome while racing Ironman Canada, but it didn't stop him from celebrating when he crossed the finish line. John raced the final Ironman Canada (Penticton) with a big crowd from Colorado, including his friend and fellow Fit Loft athlete Ryan Otto. It was a beautiful day and even though John didn't meet his time goals, he was thrilled to have crossed under 11 hours, with the sun still shining. Ironfinish-CDA John FieldCongratulations!!

Temple Takes the Win

Congratulations to Temple Hayles who raced to an overall victory at the Nautica South Beath Triathlon on April 1st, 2012. Temple rode away with the victory on her Trek Speed Concept. Using the Retul system, she and Josh worked hard to find her the best, most efficient fit. It worked! With Reynolds wheels from TriBella Women's Multisport, she conquered the field and brought home the trophy to Colorado. What a great way to start the year!!
